Pros
- You have all the regular Amazon Alexa features plus much more. The screen allows you to control your other smart devices manually, search the internet, watch videos and so much more. You can, for example, connect it with a smart camera at your front door and check the feed on your Echo Show at any time.
- By default, the display will always be on with the time and weather. This can also be adjusted off course.
- You can do video calls now because of the screen and front-facing camera (there is a mechanical switch that slides a privacy screen in place over the camera for when you wouldn’t use it).
Cons
- The sound quality is good but could be better.
- When playing music by Bluetooth, the sound quality is worse than if you were to play music via Wifi.
Conclusion
This Alexa device basically offers you an Alexa speaker with a screen which makes it more useful. You can use it to set up routines with your other smart devices or to video call your best friend whilst also just being a regular clock at all times.
