Sleek and compact, the Nest Cam Indoor Security Camera can be positioned in your
office or home for consistent video footage in 1080p HD resolution.
Watch, listen, and speak to whomever is in the room using the camera’s 130°
wide-angle field of view and built-in speaker and microphone. Utilizing 8 IR
LEDs, the camera transitions from day to night settings allowing you to keep an
eye on the area regardless of the lighting levels.
The camera features customizable options, including scheduled recording times
and motion and audio detection alerts sent to your mobile device. Monitor the
camera’s footage using the Nest application for constant live streaming to your
phone or mobile device.

Setting up Nest Cam Indoor is simple. Just plug in the power cord, download the
Nest app, and set it up from your Android or iOS device. Then start watching
your secure, encrypted video right away.

Nest Cam Indoor has a built-in mic and speaker so you can hear what’s going on
and talk back using the Nest app. When someone is about to speak, Nest Cam
Indoor will chime to get your attention.

You can’t always be watching your video feed. Get a phone alert or email when
Nest Cam Indoor detects activity, so you know if something happens when you’re
away.

For video playback and time-lapse recording, subscribe to the Nest Aware
software which offers storage space, as well as additional features like
advanced motion detection with facial recognition, and customized activity zones
for monitoring movement in a specific area. Powered by a micro-USB cord, the
camera is designed for easy installation and can be moved between rooms.
Packaged with a magnetic mounting plate, the camera can be mounted to a desk or
wall, or stuck to a refrigerator. Additional cameras can be purchased for
monitoring numerous rooms at once, while still using a single mobile device.

Requirements

Compatible mobile device (minimum OS requirements are available at g.co/nest/requirements).

Nest Cam requires a Wi-Fi network, a working broadband internet connection with at least 2 Mbps upload speed per camera for optimal performance (DSL may not qualify), a compatible mobile device, the free Home app, and a Google Account.

Works with Hey Google features require additional hardware (sold separately), which could include a Google Nest device.

Video streaming, phone alerts, and history may be subject to interruptions or failures for reasons beyond Google’s control, like intermittent Wi-Fi or service provider outages.

Nest Cam does not provide third-party monitored emergency notification or response.
